Absolutely need to play the Following ad it's a continuation of the story of Harran and if you are going to get the new game when it releases, it's a must to complete the Following so you know where it ended for Harran. Not to mention it's a great dlc. The base game which is Dying Light was recently renamed to "Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition" with the release of The Following. So even if you got The Follow DLC or not, it will still be named that. It was renamed with the update and everyone got the enhanced content. The difference between original Dying Light and Dying Light The Following - Enhnaced Edition is that original doesn't contain paid DLC. The Enhanced Edition will contain The Following DLC which is a huge expansion to Dying Light, as well as The Bozak Horde and etc. Dying Light: The Following is a downloadable content expansion pack for Dying Light. It was released on February 9, 2016, and was included in Dying Light: The Following — Enhanced Edition. Dying Light: The Following manages to include a new fun-filled environment to explore along with a vehicle to do so that mesh together well with a story that's slow to start but ends with a Dying Light - The Following is only the DLC The Following. You need the base game for that aswell, it's not standalone.
